Currently it is linked with Commission on Adult Basic Education (COABE). The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE) is a (c)3 not-for-profit organization that offers memberships for the purpose of lifelong learning. However, neither AAACE nor any of its commissions or SIGs is an accrediting organization. Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Association is one of the oldest regional adult education organizations in the United States. For more than a half century, MPAEA has been on the cutting edge of adult education as a state, regional and national imperative.
